Mortgage brokers are laying the groundwork for a more effective response when the Department of Housing and Urban Development decides to propose new reform regulations under the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act. A National Association of Mortgage Brokers delegation led by its new president, Robert Armbrewster, met recently with the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s top officials to recommend talking points for a new round of RESPA talks.
