No sooner had the ink dried on Fairbanks Capital Corp.’s $40 million settlement agreement with the government that another mortgage loan servicer appears to have its head on the same chopping block. Fitch Ratings earlier this month warned that it might have to reduce its ratings for Ocwen Financial Corp. amid reports of a lawsuit alleging use of predatory collection tactics on customers.
