Federal thrift and banking regulators have developed a calculator to help lenders report loan level information, as required under new Home Mortgage Disclosure Act regulations. The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council, which sets reporting rules for federally chartered financial institutions, said the “Rate Spread Calculator” is now available on the FFIEC web site.
