Federal thrift regulators have suspended indefinitely the collection of subprime lending data, which was slated to begin with the September 2001 Thrift Financial Report. Instead, the Office of Thrift Supervision has added a new section to the TFR where lenders are now required to report single-family mortgage loans without private mortgage insurance, as well as loans with 90 percent or more loan-to-value ratio.
