The recent default of National Century Financial Enterprise healthcare receivable-backed transactions is continuing to raise questions about the nature of a trustee’s role in asset-backed and residential backed securities. Although perhaps the most notorious, the NCFE transaction is not the only deal to have raised issues concerning the role of trustee, said Claire Robinson, a managing director at Moody’s Investors Service. She said
