U.S. asset-backed security spreads keep grinding tighter and tighter and show few signs of letting up in the near term. Spreads have been narrowing since the beginning of the year, as investors in corporate paper have been parking money in ABSs, said Jeff Salmon, head of ABS research at Barclays Capital.
