Two and a half years after it purchased an Internet technology company from a Microsoft subsidiary in a bid to boost its cyber presence, Freddie Mac has dumped the firm. Late last month, Freddie announced it had sold all of the assets of its Ignition Mortgage Technology Solutions subsidiary to LION Inc., an online services company that connects mortgage brokers with consumers and lenders.
