Apparently angry over Fannie Mae’s and Freddie Mac’s efforts to stymie tough regulatory reform legislation, Congressman Richard Baker, R-LA, is looking to turn up the heat on the two GSEs. Baker, who helped draft a compromise GSE bill in the House that Fannie and Freddie effectively vetoed, has formally asked the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight to provide detailed compensation information on top executives at the two GSEs.
