The Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight last week marked its 10th anniversary by announcing the revision of its web site and the unveiling of a new logo that is meant to symbolize OFHEO’s success in regulating Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The new symbol, described by OFHEO in a Federal Register announcement, is not much different than the one designed back in 1993 when the agency was a shoestring operation struggling for resources.
