Fannie Mae Chairman and CEO Franklin Raines last week pledged to keep the GSE a model of corporate governance. In remarks at a Women in Housing Finance luncheon, Raines announced the Fannie Mae board has adopted a new set of corporate governance guidelines that represent the best practices in corporate America. He also announced a new section on corporate governance that was added this week to Fannie Mae’s website.
