Federal Housing Finance Board Chairman John Korsmo has called on the 12 Federal Home Loans Banks to help identify issues that should be discussed with the Securities and Exchange Commission in the development of “enhanced disclosure requirements” for the GSEs. Towards that end, the FHFB chairman asked each FHLBank to designate an executive to serve on a disclosure task force that will hold its first meeting in Washington, DC, on August 12.
