Record production levels had subprime lenders working hard to grow their portfolios, a new Inside B&C Lending analysis reveals. The analysis looked at 17 companies that make and service subprime loans. As a group, those lenders closed the third quarter on pace to generate some $126.97 billion in new loans this year, an amount equal to 48.7 percent of their combined $260.69 billion in servicing.
