With a gargantuan deal by a Bank of America subsidiary already completed – and another on the horizon - the subprime mortgage securitization market is on course for a banner year. BofA’s Equicredit unit made history on Dec. 14 when it closed a $7.1 billion securitization of subprime mortgages in its portfolio – easily the largest subprime deal on record. But, as Inside B&C Lending went to press, there was talk of an even larger
