Standard & Poor’s has reinstated the "average" servicer rating it pulled from Superior Bank earlier this month, when regulators shut down the troubled thrift. The rating agency said it has received assurances that the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, which is acting as receiver for Superior, will continue to maintain, "prudent loan servicing practices" until it can find a buyer for the platform.
