Groups waging war on alleged predatory lending practices are hoping to hit decision-makers where it hurts the most: their pocketbooks. A case in point is Household International. As a group of about 30 protesters stood outside chanting and passing out flyers dubbing the Illinois-based company "Shark of the Year," activists were inside at is the shareholder meeting offering up a proposal that would tie executive compensation to predatory lending.
