Such was the advice that syndicated real estate columnist Ken Harney gave to subprime lenders looking for ways to staunch a takeover of their industry by the government-sponsored enterprises. Speaking at the recent National Home Equity Mortgage Association conference in Palm Desert, Harney suggested that the key to survival in the new subprime market might be the ability of lenders to strike
