Wall Street has developed a consensus on many issues raised by the Securities and Exchange Commission’s controversial proposal to require disclosure of static pool data in mortgage- and asset-backed securities, although some wrinkles still need to be ironed out, according to the American Securitization Forum. The ASF’s additional commentary to the SEC’s massive proposal on MBS and ABS disclosure has a number of recommendations on how to make the proposed static pool disclosures work.
