In a separate case, a federal court in New York dismissed a shareholder action against Citigroup in connection with certain residential MBS. At issue in the first case is a pool of 4,792 mortgage loans that Citigroup Global Markets Realty Corp. purchased and securitized in May 2007. FHA jumbo loan originations continued their quarterly fluctuations as production in the second quarter of 2013 slipped after a good run in the previous quarter, according to Inside FHA Lendings analysis of FHA data. Volume fell 1.5 percent from the first quarter, during which the FHA posted $5.36 billion in jumbo mortgage originations.
