Link to PDF Version of this issue Fannie Named in AU Discrimination Suit An African-American homeowner has filed a lawsuit against Fannie Mae, alleging that its credit scoring system used by lenders is racially discriminatory. The suit, filed on Sept. 13 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, charges the nation’s largest mortgage purchaser with violations of federal fair housing, equal credit opportunity and fair credit reporting statutes.
