Despite the fear of anthrax and other forms of bio-terrorism, most mortgage-lending experts say there has been no drastic shift from the traditional way of applying for mortgages to electronic application. Alfred King, a spokesman for Fannie Mae, said the secondary market company has no reports from lenders that the number of online loan applications has increased dramatically. "It’s more of a lending issue than a secondary market issue," he said.
