Wall Street Asked to Guard Against Predatory Lending

The Department of the Treasury has asked Wall Street to consider adopting a strict code of ethics for the secondary market to prevent predatory lenders from gaining access to capital market funds. There is doubt, though, that investment banks would buy into the idea of serving as government watchdogs.
