GSEs Shedding Nonprime Holdings, Earning Profits

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac sold some nonprime mortgage-backed securities during 2013 even though the government-sponsored enterprises have seen strong returns on these holdings in recent quarters. I’m confident a bill will be passed the first year.
2 to 3 years. GSE reform is complicated.
Sadly it won’t happen in a Clinton or Trump first term.
