Delinquency reporting issues have fueled a spate of shareholders lawsuits against a long-time subprime market player, American Business Financial Services. As Inside B&C Lending went to press, five separate firms had filed lawsuits on behalf of ABFS shareholders, arguing that the value of their stock plunged after allegations surfaced that the company was using aggressive forbearance tactics to make its performance numbers appear more favorable.
