Subprime servicers appear well positioned to weather the refinance wave and grow their businesses in the months ahead. But run-off remains a problem. In fact, a new Inside B&C Lending analysis found that 18 large subprime servicers, all with portfolios of $2.6 billion or higher, saw 25 percent of their loans drain away, on an annualized basis, during the first half of the year.
