Ginnie Mae this week released new custom pooling options for hybrid ARM products and rescinded a pooling requirement that prevented issuers from including loans seasoned more than 48 months from the issue date of the MBS. The new hybrid pooling options, spelled out in All Participants Memo 04-06, should give lenders the flexibility in putting together securities that is available in multiple issuer pools.
