The Department of Housing and Urban Development announced on May 27 that it will publish a final rule on the FHA TOTAL mortgage scorecard in September 2003. The rule will codify policies and procedures that lenders and automated underwriting system vendors must observe to use the FHA’s “Technology Open to All Lenders” mortgage scorecard.
