The Mortgage Bankers Association of America has unveiled a report that calls many of the recent business activities of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, such as their distribution of automated underwriting systems and Freddie’s credit extension to Lending Tree, a violation of their chartered mission that infringes on the primary market.
