Lenders Adjusting Well to New Disclosure Requirements

California lenders are coping better than expected with the state’s new credit score disclosure laws, a factor that could boost chances for similar legislation currently pending in the U.S. Senate, according to industry groups in the Golden State. Mandatory disclosure of consumer credit scores, as well as credit information used to create the score, went into effect in California on July 1 this year.
