The Mortgage Bankers Association of America is in search of a new chief lobbyist after the abrupt dismissal of the head of its government affairs department last week. Howard Glaser’s departure was announced by the trade group’s president, Jonathan Kempner, in an e-mail note to all staff on Nov. 26.
