HUD/VA, GSEs Rally to Bring Loan Relief to Terror Victims, Foreclosures Suspended, Other Forbearance Measures in Play

The nation’s mortgage industry has pulled together to provide mortgage relief to thousands of families who have been victimized by recent terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, DC. Disaster-relief guidelines normally used by mortgage servicers in cases of natural disasters went into effect last week for victims with FHA, VA, or conventional mortgage loans.
