Countrywide Home Loans, Inc. boosted its new $100 billion housing commitment to low- and moderate-income families with a joint initiative aimed at educating more African Americans on responsible homeownership and the mortgage lending process. Dubbed "With Ownership, Wealth," or WOW, the initiative is spearheaded by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and supported by mortgage lenders, financial institutions and community groups.
