Lenders Voice Concern Washington, D.C.’s Control Board is considering legislation updating the district’ s 99-year old foreclosure laws despite vocal opposition by lender trade groups to a provision exempting loans sold to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac from anti-predatory lending requirements.
