Resilience in the subprime and Alternative A markets was a key factor in the non-agency MBS market during the first quarter of 2004, a new Inside MBS & ABS analysis reveals. New non-agency MBS production fell to $153.15 billion in the first three months of 2004, down 3.8 percent from the record level of $159.25 billion set during the fourth quarter of last year.
