Moody’s Cuts Ocwen Servicer Rating Amid Concerns Over Looming Lawsuits

Concerns about the financial impact of a spate of class action lawsuits has led Moody’s Investors Service to downgrade the servicer rating of Ocwen Federal Bank. But the Florida-based lender apparently remains a more than capable servicer of MBS deals – at least for now.
