Thrift Mortgage Securities Holdings Decline Slightly in Second Quarter, Charter Change Has Effect

The thrift industry saw its aggregate holdings of mortgage-related securities drop slightly during the second quarter of this year after one of the industry’s larger institutions shifted to a commercial bank charter.
